The Painted Pear! We're so glad you stopped in for a visit. I'm Jill, a naturopathic doctor and renovation-junkie. This is my husband Jamie. He's a carpenter and a teacher and he turns my ridiculous ideas into reality.
In the past year we've turned a bungalow into a 2-storey home and we are finally at the point where we get to decorate! We're finally,
finally at the fun part and guess what? There's no money left!!! Of course. Because that's the way things go in renovation-land.
Luckily, we have a pretty great knack for finding inexpensive/old/broken/cast-off furniture and turning it into something special. Something we love. Something to be proud of!
I've been on the hunt for great pieces. Strong, well built, solid pieces and Jamie has been perfecting the art of spray-lacquering.
